Hi Ian
Les Hemmes , Hardelot and Le Touquet are in the north west Les Hemmes is massive when the tides are right but can be a bit soft.
Hope this helps

Bit of a thread hijack but all relavant. I'm heading back down to Capbreton soon and only ever taken notice of the beach nearer high tide for surfing. It's to soft to Blokart on then but mid to low tide may be ok? It's about 5-6 miles to the estuary near Boucau / Bayonne with a impressive Spanish back drop.. Fingers crossed.. Anybody?

lots of beaches all along the coast in those areas and most you can use. also a fantastic beach at Le Torche massive beach near Brest. Good surf as well.

Hi Ian,
If you are going further south try La Franqui, very windy you might need a small sail, when I was there in April
my 4m was too big, needed 2 or 3.

La Franqui is always windy Certainly not a 4m beach, Great place though. must try and get to a blokart event there next year, just hope the beach isnt flooded like this year !!

Yes your right,I went for the Mondial du Vent and took the cart hoping to get a sail, but the wind and flooding was too much, I now have 3m so hoping to get some use out of it when I go back in July.I have been many times and not seen it flooded.

La Franqui is a 2m sail venue most of the time. if they get alot of rain it floods. im thinking of doing the 100km blokart race next year. mind you the price of fuel is the main issue, last few times i have we gone 3 of us have gone in my motorhome and shared the driving, in 3 hr stints and gone all the way without stopping. bit of a mission for a long weekend lol but great fun.
