Car rack for mg supra

Postby robsupra » Tue Jul 29, 2014 12:26 pm

Anyone know where I can get hold of a tow bar mounted rear rack for my mg supra buggy. Or indeed failing that how to go about building one? Any help would be appreciated
Thx. Rob

Like many others, I use a Thule Easybase:

For around £150, you can't really go wrong.

I'm selling a Thule towbar mounted 3 bike rack that has been converted to carry a buggy. DM me for details.

Hello Steve
Thanks for the suggestion. Question is would that be man enough to carry 70 kg mg supra buggy that is heavy wide and tall. Presumably I need to build some sort of A frame to support the swan neck and front wheel up to the roof?

Hey Rob, good to see you today.

http://www.mg-kites.com/site/products/kitebuggy/mg-supra/

Says that the MG Supra is 52kg all up presumably including wheels (says only 28kg for the frame). My XXRacer is about 56kg with weights on the front, so you should be fine. Unless you really have added another 18kg somehow?

Cheers, Steve.
